Unique, Clear Sound I just stumbled across Con Brio, while browsing "World" music. I wish you had more clips available, because I truly love the sound of your group! Your harmony is pure and well-executed, and your vocalists are extremely well-trained. I know what it's like to go through extensive vocal training, and I admire anyone else who's serious enough to do so. It certainly pays off. Your renditions of the two classic MP3s you've posted are true to the originals, while providing your own unique vocal sound. Again, I hope you make more available for playing and purchasing. I'll certainly buy any albums you release! Keep up the great work! Sincerely, CLKennedy CLKennedy

This Australian Renaissance vocal troupe is actually a quartet (one guesses "brio" just works better with "trio"), and it uses every one of those four voices in its crisp renditions. Focusing on early Classical church music, the group approaches those hymns with the precise phrasing and harmonic discipline they richly reward.

Angelic and moving

These voices are uplifting, affected me like the prisoners in that scene from the Shawshank Redemption, very nice to listen to and also nice to look at, you go girls!

Con Brio added a touch of class to the evening

- and I received many great comments about your contribution....

good diction and voice blending make for a first-rate sound

This group has two strong features in its favor - first, its diction is excellent, and second, the voices blend well. You can hear, and more importantly, understand the lyrics. It takes a lot of work to get this polish; word attack is very good, indeed. Some groups consist of singers who are excellent individually, but who do not blend well. That is not the case in this group. Its fine harmonizing comes about because each singer consciously contributes to a well-rounded collective tone.

"Trio con Brio" would be the number one act we would seek to engage.

I had the decided pleasure of hearing "Trio con Brio" perform at our recent "Christmas in July" function. Having been in the Entertainment Industry for over 45
years I was enormously impressed by their immediate appeal and the complete professionalism that their act so beautifully portrayed.
This was certainly the feeling throughout the audience on the night in question.
When arranging our next function "Trio con Brio" would be the number one act we would seek to engage.

March 2004, Cancer Council's Relay for Life, Rosebud

As organiser of the entertainment for the PENINSULA RELAY FOR LIFE in March 2004, I have much pleasure in thoroughly recommending Bernadette and her group.

Her program was very well chosen for our event and well received by all the participants in the Relay. In difficult circumstances (being outdoors and makeshift sound) they were all incredibly professional and very enjoyable to all concerned.

We were so impressed we will be inviting them back for next years' Relay and certainly hope they can fit us in their busy schedule.
